This black Brando toe cap oxford shoe is crafted from a smooth vegetable-tanned leather upper; the traditional oxford design looks beautiful when worn with a crisp wool suit. It can also be dressed down with a nice pair of chinos or jeans, a good all-around shoe.

The Oxford gained its name from the city’s university students with whom they were all the rage in the 1800's. Since then this traditional style shoe has become synonymous with business and evening wear and the perfect uniform wear to round off a suit, it features a “closed lacing” system in which the quarters, the side tabs where the shoelace eyelets are punctured, are sewn under the front part of the shoe known as the vamp, its the seam that runs directly below laces. Please Note: Once purchased, we recommended all leather sole footwear have a thin rubber lining put on the sole by a shoe cobbler! Reason being, to prolong the sole life of the shoe.
